This photo is from the Baguales area of Patagonia. I used the September Week 1 sketch from Let's Get Sketchy.

Good Times
This is one of my favorite photos from Atacama. Our guide, Paz, took this while we were walking down a huge sand dune in Death Valley. I love the angle of the photo and continued with a little more angling on the layout. I used September Week 2 sketch from Let's Get Sketchy and rotated it 45 degrees.

Villa 3
Our villa for the week in Patagonia is featured on this layout today. I also used a map of the area where the resort was located and some ribbon that was tied around our toilet paper roll in the villa.
I used this sketch from Stuck? Sketches
and also the book inspired challenge from Scrap Our Stash. I used (note)book paper for the journaling and was inspired by the house and yellow color.

Harrier
I was able to snap these photos of a Harrier Fox when we were in Patagonia. The bonus was he was perched on a calfate (blueberry) bush. I used sketch 298 at Creative Scrappers for the layout.

Hey Ewe
Earlier this month, I went to open farm day at Pembroke Farm. They had a bunch of lambs and the cutest australian sheep dog. Of course, I took a lot of photos. I used week 4 sketch from Let's Get Sketchy for the layout.
Llama Drama
My layout for week 5 at Let's Get Sketchy is of some adorned llamas from our trip to Chile. The colors in this inspiration matched perfectly with the colors of the fabric on the llamas and the cute llama card from Paper Issues.

Clean Boots
I staged this photo to show our boots in Atacama Desert after they were left in a basket outside our door every morning cleaned of the previous day's red dirt.

The First Gate
After a long amount of time trying to find papers I liked together with cardstock for a triangle (or mountain) cut file I wanted to use, I decided I didn't like how the photo I was going to use looked with the papers. Off to find another photo. This one of the gate to the estancia on which Awasi Patagonia was located seemed to work well both with the cut file and the photos. I used sketch 297 from Creative Scrappers for the layout.

These Are The Moments
When I saw this Bo Bunny Collection, I knew it would be perfect for hiking pictures in Patagonia (and give me an excuse to buy it). We were about an hour into our 8 hour hike to the Torres, and had just finished the "flat" section (which was not flat in my book). It was a perfect scenic spot to capture the view up the canyon.
I used the July sketch on the Bo Bunny blog for this layout.

Sightseeing
After nearly 24 hours of travel, we arrived in Atacama Desert, Chile tired but excited for our adventures. This was the first photo taken when we stopped along the road to admire the view of the desert.
I used the July 15 sketch from Stuck? Sketches for the layout.

Journey Together
Working with some South America photos for sketch #209 at Sketches in Thyme. This was our last day in Atacama and we rode bikes near the Quebrada del Diablo. I used spokes instead of the triangles to mimic the bicycle wheels.
Loafin' Around
I used these photos of the kittens lounging outside for sketch #208 at Sketches in Thyme.

Summer
These photos from the beach last summer when we traveled "up west" worked out perfectly with this Echo Park Collection. I used the July 1 sketch from Stuck? Sketches for the layout.
Wild PEI Lobster
Dog Beers
This layout was created for layout #296 at Creative Scrappers. Included in the challenge was a free cut file from Just Nick Studios.

We Made It
If I look like I was dying in this photo, it's because I felt that way. The Copa Coya hike was a doozy with the elevation ending at 14,000 feet. The last stretch had a 400' elevation change and let's just say I was not the happiest camper by the time I got to the top.
I used sketch #196 at Sketches In Thyme for this layout and got it finished just by the deadline.

On Our Way
I've been working with some of our South America vacation photos and what better way to start the album than the first photo I took at the lounge in Indy before our first flight.
I used Sketch #193 from Sketches in Thyme. I loved the way Maven Karen used a stencil and watercolors for the circles in the sketch. I was trying to duplicate that idea, but had a fail with the watercolors. I decided to use some acrylic paint and bubble wrap instead.

Photo Bomb
Guess it has been some time since I have completed some challenges to post to my blog. I participated in an online crop at + and combined one of the challenges with the March 1 challenge at Scrap Our Stash. This was the challenge:
I was inspired by the teal and banner and, of course, I used some gold embellies and alphas.
