Ahoy

Sharing some more photos from Halifax last summer. This layout was created for the Got Talent Challenge to use plastic packaging (I die cut some ship's wheels and added sequins then sewed around the edges) and write or draw your title and cut it out.

I used week 4 sketch from Sketches in Thyme for the layout.

North Shore

This layout was created using week 3 sketch at Sketches in Thyme. More photos from last summer in PEI.

Beach Life

Today I am sharing a layout created for Paper Issues' Cut It Out Challenge. There are some cute cut files you can download for your beach layouts in addition to the one I used. I used some watercolors and mists on the white cardstock, then cut the title out of three pieces of Silhouette chipboard and then layered with the file cut from cardstock.

I also used this month's Sketch No. 1 from Lets Get Sketchy for the layout.

On Board

Scrapping some photos from last summer's ferry trip across the Northumberland Strait to pick up Tom in Halifax. I created this layout for Paper Issues' Chip Off the Old Block challenge to create a project around the words "board" or "bored".

Mont St. Michel

Here's another old photo that I scrapped with papers that are equally as old that I paired with some new embellishments. I have also been playing with watercolors and used some here and there on this layout. I used the week 2 sketch at Sketches in Thyme.

Life Is Good

I still have some straggler photos taken in France a couple of years ago. Today I used these two from Bayeux for sketch challenge #28 at Scrap Our Stash.

#Outdoors #Selfie

I never use hashtags...never. But I made an except for the "Hey, Tech This Out" challenge at Paper Issues. Plus, they have a free download for hashtag cut files, so that made it easy. I just made an offset around the words to make them stand out more on my layout.

Musee Airborne

I have had these photos sitting around a few years and have even had these papers with them but never scrapped them. Today, I pulled them out for the July 1 sketch at Stuck? Sketches.

Love You More

This week's got talent challenge at My Scraps & More was to use cardstock, washi & ribbon only (in place of pattern paper), and whatever embellishments you wanted. This was a little difficult for me because I love my pattern papers.

I also used this layout for challenge #28 at Scrap Our Stash.

The O's were a little hard, so I had to use my imagination. I used:
P - Pink
H - Hearts
O - Odd number sequins
T - Tape (washi)
O - One photo
S - stickers, spray mist, sequins
