Canadian Soap Co.

These cute little goats help make the best soap. I had to add the brochure with some washi tape on the side so that it can be flipped to read more info on the back.
I used week 3 sketch from Let's Get Sketchy.

Adventure

I used the week 2 sketch at Let's Get Sketchy for this layout from last summer when Cindy and I were at Point Primm.

Swing

Using up some more old stash with these photos at Crowbush Cove golf course last September. I used week 2 sketch from Sketches in Thyme.

Fall Flavours - Chef on Board

These fall papers (from a couple years ago) coordinated perfectly with the brochure and my photo of our meal at the Chef on Board Fall Flavours event last September.

I used Week 1 sketch from Let's Get Sketchy and I am also linking it to Paper Issues Link and Win.

Lovely

Perfectly sums up the photos of my cute girl Hailey.
I used Sketch #146 from Sketchabilities for the layout

and also the Pinterest Inspiration board from Paper Issues (I knew when I saw this board that I had to create a layout of Hailey).

Lobster Faves

Aren't these pics of lobster rolls making you crave one? I used the September 1 sketch at Stuck Sketches for this layout.

Open Road

I love these roads in PEI that seem to stretch forever to the horizon. Another bonus is that there are rarely many other cars on the road with you.
I used week 4 sketch from Lets Get Sketchy for this layout along with some old October Afternoon Travel Girl papers and embellies from my stash.

Explore

Finally scrapping a different vacation....our trip to Savannah this spring.

I used this sketch from Lets Get Sketchy for the layout.

August Harvest

While I took these photos last summer, the colors in them reminded me more of fall so I pulled the browns, blues and greens from the photos to use on the layout.

I used the 8/15 sketch from Stuck Sketches? for this layout.

Friends

While the photographer was not the best (cutting off some of Monica's head), love this photo of all of us having a drink at Lol-Ha in Akumal. It's a beautiful spot to eat, drink and watch the sand and water.
I used week 1 sketch from Sketches in Thyme for this layout and I combined it with Got Talent #14 at My Scraps and More to use only branding strips, background paper and embellishments. I was stumped on how to use only the branding strips then thought they would represent these strips of hearts on the sketch perfectly.

Deer

I created this layout using the August 1sketch from Stuck?Sketches and the color challenge from Scrap Much to embrace gold on your layout. It's hard to tell from the photo, but the yellow gold paper has been sprayed with gold mist to add a little extra gold sparkle to the layout.

Silly Crazy Fun Sisters

Just some silly photos of my sister and me in the ocean when we were in Akumal in May. I used the August sketch at Scrap Much for the layout. I am also submitting this layout for the August stash challenge at Scrap Our Stash.

Here's what I used on the layout for the letters:
P - Prism Collection papers
A - alpha stickers, Adrift (collection) dies
P - Pink Paper
E - enamel dots
R - rhinestones

This is Happy

Back to more PEI photos from last summer. I had fun adding lots of little embellishments to this layout and cutting the title tag with my Silhouette Cameo. I used the August week 1 sketch from Let's Get Sketchy. I am also linking this layout to Paper Issues' It's All About Face challenge.

Lunch Spot

Today's layout was created using sketch #160 at Sketches in Thyme. I use some old Pebbles and Bella Blvd. papers out of my stash and created the big circle with my Silhouette Cameo.

Ahoy

Sharing some more photos from Halifax last summer. This layout was created for the Got Talent Challenge to use plastic packaging (I die cut some ship's wheels and added sequins then sewed around the edges) and write or draw your title and cut it out.

I used week 4 sketch from Sketches in Thyme for the layout.

North Shore

This layout was created using week 3 sketch at Sketches in Thyme. More photos from last summer in PEI.

Beach Life

Today I am sharing a layout created for Paper Issues' Cut It Out Challenge. There are some cute cut files you can download for your beach layouts in addition to the one I used. I used some watercolors and mists on the white cardstock, then cut the title out of three pieces of Silhouette chipboard and then layered with the file cut from cardstock.

I also used this month's Sketch No. 1 from Lets Get Sketchy for the layout.

On Board

Scrapping some photos from last summer's ferry trip across the Northumberland Strait to pick up Tom in Halifax. I created this layout for Paper Issues' Chip Off the Old Block challenge to create a project around the words "board" or "bored".

Mont St. Michel

Here's another old photo that I scrapped with papers that are equally as old that I paired with some new embellishments. I have also been playing with watercolors and used some here and there on this layout. I used the week 2 sketch at Sketches in Thyme.

Life Is Good

I still have some straggler photos taken in France a couple of years ago. Today I used these two from Bayeux for sketch challenge #28 at Scrap Our Stash.

#Outdoors #Selfie

I never use hashtags...never. But I made an except for the "Hey, Tech This Out" challenge at Paper Issues. Plus, they have a free download for hashtag cut files, so that made it easy. I just made an offset around the words to make them stand out more on my layout.

Diamond Jubilee Fountain

I created this layout with photos from the gardens in Halifax last summer using the July Sketch #1 from Sketches in Thyme.

Musee Airborne

I have had these photos sitting around a few years and have even had these papers with them but never scrapped them. Today, I pulled them out for the July 1 sketch at Stuck? Sketches.

Love You More

This week's got talent challenge at My Scraps & More was to use cardstock, washi & ribbon only (in place of pattern paper), and whatever embellishments you wanted. This was a little difficult for me because I love my pattern papers.

I also used this layout for challenge #28 at Scrap Our Stash.

The O's were a little hard, so I had to use my imagination. I used:
P - Pink
H - Hearts
O - Odd number sequins
T - Tape (washi)
O - One photo
S - stickers, spray mist, sequins

Happy 22nd Anniversary

I love this photo from our anniversary last September when we were cruising the Northumberland Strait on the ferry for a Fall Flavours/Food Network Canada dinner event. I pulled some old papers (scraps other than the background) that were perfect for the Scrap Our Stash Sketch Challenge #27.
In addition to the layout, I was required to make a card from the scraps.
