Last week's Got Talent III challenge at My Scraps & More was to use an ombre background. I combined this with the Simon Says Stamps challenge to use stripes. After searching through my voluminous stash of pattern paper, I found some mint green papers from Fancy Pants The Good Life and Trendsetter collections that worked perfect for my ombre background.

Baby Rag Quilt

It's been a long time since I used my sewing machine for anything other than scrapbooking. I had a baby shower to attend a couple of weeks ago and decided to try my hand at a baby rag quilt. I used this tutorial for the measurements and the idea of using the strips instead of squares. It was pretty easy and I thought it turned out cute. Now I need a full sized one for me.

I was working on a baby rag quilt last week for a baby shower today for baby Lucy.  Hailey gave it a test drive and gave it the kitty approval.

Dad Card

I sat down to make a father's day card and dug deep in my stash of Bo Bunny and pulled out some things from the Etc. and Timepiece collections because of their masculine feel. I got a little carried away and made the card too thick and heavy to mail, but wanted to share it for the Bo Bunny June card challenge and the Paper Crafter's Corner Father's Day challenge.
