Cheers!
Today the design team at myStampBOX is featuring projects about food. In my house, wine is a food group...it is made from grapes afterall.
I decorated this plain kraft wine bag using the Ornamental Flowers set. I fussy cut some of the small blue flowers and mounted them with foam tape. The large snowflake tag and "cheers" were cut with my Cricut. I'm sure anyone on your gift list would appreciate this gift bag...filled with a bottle of wine, of course.
Cheers!!

My Mind's Eye Sketch Challenge
It's been a while since I participated in any challenges. Today I decided to work with this month's sketch on the My Mind's Eye blog.
I created this layout of a photo at Grinnell Glacier using lots of different My Mind's Eye products: Lost & Found 3: "Oliver" Blue Quatrefoil Embossed, Multi Plaid, and Ledger Stripe Papers; Indie Chic Citron Grow: "What A Day" Hibiscus Paper; Indie Chic Citron "What A Day" Decorative Buttons; Lost & Found 2 "Boyish" Buttons; Miss Caroline Howdy Doody "Lovely" Pins & Buttons; Dilly Dally "Best" Stickers; Kraft Funday Everyday Fun Twine; and part of the packaging (the cream tab) from Lost & Found 2 Pearl Swirls. I added some letter stickers from American Crafts and Bo Bunny, and a piece of scallop die cut muslin.

Travel Bookmark
I'm getting ready to go on a trip to France and have been busy
reading different travel books. I thought it would be nice to have a
bookmark to mark my spot while I'm reading up here in the US and also to
mark my spot when we are out and about in France.
I inked some white paper with Tim Holtz Stormy Sky and Festive Berries Distress Ink (in honor of the colors of the French flag), then stamped images and words from the Passport to Adventure and Road Trip sets in black pigment ink. I then put some clear embossing powder on the bookmark and heat set (I will admit I only intended for the embossing powder to stick to the images and words, but it also stuck to the distress ink and gave kind of a nice pebbly texture that I wasn't expecting...it's always fun when your mistakes turn out to be a good thing).
Bon Voyage friends!

Tag It
A nice way to spruce up a plain gift bag or package is with a homemade gift
tag. They're quick and easy to make with your scrapping supplies and
even your scraps. You can see all the details of this tag on the Scrapbook {Express}ions blog.

myStampBOX: Happy Holidays
Here's another card I created using the acrylic block stamping technique. This time I used Ranger Stormy Sky Distress Ink on white cardstock. I stamped some snowflakes from the Ornamental Flowers set with Ranger Weathered Wood Distress Ink and the sentiment is from the the Straight Forward set.

Love You
I've been playing around with the acrylic block technique for some cards. You ink up your acrylic block and then stamp the block onto your paper. With textured cardstock, like with this card, you see all the mottled marks of the texture.
I used Splash Me A Lot!, Sigh, Gush, Gasp, and Snapshot (I cut out the center of the polaroid frame and adhered it to the sentiment with foam tape for dimension) sets from myStampBOX for this card.
