Shimelle's Weekend Challenges
This past weekend Shimelle hosted a weekend filled with challenges, tutorials, page ideas, photography thoughts, organisation concepts, and more.
Challenge No. 10 was to use two photos and a bold background. I used two photos from St. Thomas and used some bright papers and embellishments from the January Kit from Hip2BSquare Kit Club that I won recently on their blog.
Challenge No. 14 was to create a layout with four unique sections. I created this layout making a grid pattern with the photos and two other embellished squares.

Page Maps and My Mind's Eye Challenges
Page Maps is hosting a sketch challenge sponsored by My Scraps & More. Here's the sketch and my interpretation. I combined this with My Mind's Eye April challenge to use hexagons.
I fussy cut the hexagon strips from the Kraft Funday Picnic Paper. I matted a few hexagons on foam adhesive to give some dimension to the layout.

Let's Get Sketchy Challenge #6
I stretched the sketch for challenge #6 at Let's Get Sketchy into a two page layout. Although two page layouts are not my favorite, they do seem to work better with lots of vacation photos.
