Crop in the Name of Love

My Scrapbook Nook had a virtual crop this weekend with 29 challenges. I didn't get very many done, but it did help a little with the mojo for a few things.

A layout based on a sketch. The theme of the layout is about something that you love. It CANNOT be about a person. It has to be about an object. You CANNOT use the color red in your layout and you CANNOT use any hearts!

Create a layout using chipboard

Scrap a layout using the colours of a strawberry-centred chocolate (read: pink and brown) and of course flowers.

Make a Valentine's Day gift tag. And the only requirement in this challenge is that the tag must include the word LOVE.

Make a card with atleast one heart, scallops, at least one circle, stitching

Create a shaped mini card (not square or rectangle)

February 2 Croppin' Cousinz

This month's kit features papers by a company called Magenta. I had never heard of this company before, but I loved the colors in this paper. As always, there are tons of stuff in the kit besides pattern paper -- ribbon, stamps, chipboard alphabet, rubons, tags, and more. This is the last 12x12 monthly kit the Cousinz will be offering. They are changing to offering only project kits. They offered project kits before, and they were always awesome. Be sure to check back in the future and see what they have to offer.

Here are my creations with this month's kit:
